Todays IT landscape consists of many different components – from trusted ERP systems running on-premise, to Smartphone apps connecting to different services via Internet. The term “Cloud Computing” is an often used buzzword, but few people have really thought about what the term “Cloud” really means.
We will discuss the history of Cloud Computing, how it has evolved to what it is today and the pro’s and con’s with the thousands and thousands of different offerings that deliver information, functionality and services over the Internet.
Finally, we will try and find out if there really is a “Cloud”, and what that means to YOU!
